An Auntie yet again!
My sister in law Christina delivered her first child this evening around five pm. Theron Cyril Levi. He was 6 lbs, and was 18 1/2 inches long. His delivery went pretty well which is not what we were expecting. His due date was June 25th, but we were happy to hear his first little cries and to know that his lungs had fully developed. She was in labor from about 6pm-5pm, almost 24 hours! I was blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with her so her husband could get some sleep during the middle of the night, but needless to say, I am going to bed at 8 pm tonight!!! It was not the best place for me to be because, as mentioned before, I am baby hungry! I think i asked the nurses to look in the nursery about three or four times during the night. All those cute, quiet, angellic little darlings were just too much for me to resist! So here is to babies and the blessing of being a mother.

Did he really grow that fast?
Well I must start off saying that I am very baby hungry right now. Jesse is aproaching the 17 month mark and I am getting the feeling that a baby is not far off. Well I still have a bit before we can start trying again, but as soon as I can, I WILL!!! Sorry if that is too much info for some of you. So I was going through some baby clothes to give to my sister in law (who is due in June) and some of the clothes were so TINY and cute and I can't believe he was ever small enough to fit into them! I also was looking at some pictures of Jesse from a while back and he was so small!
Well to me anyway. So here is to looking back, I will post a few pics for your enjoyment:

This is what we call our china man look. :)
Ok so this is exactly what he looks like now.

Moving
So we are finally making some big changes in our lives. Right now we are in the process of looking for a renter for our house and we are moving up to Mountain Green with Andy's parents for a few months. Now at first I was a little wary of moving in with the in-laws but I think I can look at is positively since they like me more than andy :). But we are moving in with them to decrease some debt before we have to move to Oregon. I will finish up with all of my schooling (besides student teaching) on August 14th, and we will be moving to Oregon, hopefully, September. I am VERY much looking foward to moving to Oregon. I am sad to leave many wonderful friends behind, but no goodbyes yet. I have many months of summer left to go on picnics and park walks. So this is just a pre-warning for those of you who are a little attached to me. haha :)

Bottle problems
So I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to wean Jesse from his bottle. I have tried replacing them with sippies, giving him less milk, and just quitting cold turkey. It's hard because I know that it is mostly just a comfort to him before he goes to bed and when he wakes up. He is no dummy though- if I come into his room to get him out of bed and I don't have a bottle in my hand, he won't let me take him out. And he throws wicked tantrums. I need some advice because at this point I will try anything!! Oh and he has been sick so it makes it that much harder. Thanks for listening to my pity party! But seriously, help???

Growing up!

So we have started something new this week-
and all because Jesse refused to let me help
him with ANYTHING anymore. I give him my
hand to walk with, he shrugs it off. I give him
a spoon to eat with, he throws a tantrum. So
here are some pictures of me FINALLY giving
in and saying- fine, do it yourself. He was pretty
please with himself.

He is getting so smart! If you turn your volume up for this video, you
can hear him imitating the pig. He also does a sheep noise, but
he went camera shy or something! Enjoy :)
