Dahlia Festival

My mom and I went to the Dahlia festival in
Canby this weekend and it was amazing!
I can't believe that there are so many different
kinds of one flower and I am in awe of how
perfect these flowers are! I just put a few on, but
my mom has less restraint than I and put about 40 pictures on her blog. So if you want to see some AMAZING flower pictures (taken by both my mom and I) then go to Ridgeway Heights for a visual feast.

THE BEACH!!!!

This is a park in Linclon City (the coast) that has an AWESOME jungle gym. WE had fun
here and Jesse desperately needed to stretch his legs because of the hour drive. :)

He can never get enough of the swings

Here he found a train and kept on saying "toot toot"

When we finally got to the beach, he had a blast!
He let me bury him in the sand and he just sat there!
He wanted me to do it over and over again.

He thought it was pretty funny when i dug down
and found his toes in the sand

He was trying to escape!
Here he is destroying a sand castle
that I built. Anne wanted to build one and
even made a "jesse proof moat" around it,
but alas, the moat was forded and it was ruined.

Getting some cuddle time in.

King of the beach

We got some truffles after wards (family tradition)
and he wanted one and shoved it all in his face. That's my boy
He found some taffy and wanted that
too. We need to cut back on the sugar...

Out and about

For those of you who don't know, Jesse LOVES
the water. He nows says "wawa" for water every
time he sees it, which is often since my dad has a
million sprinklers on times. Anyway, he also loves to
be outside, where he can run around without his
mother telling him no for something.

He is a big boy now and can climb on chairs. :)
"wawa". It was funny because when my dad says
water, with his accent it sounds like wata. (Just say
this outloud and it wont look so weird). So when
Jesse first learned to say water, he said "oota" to
imitate my dad's accent. :)

My little genius.

His favorite food: bananas

With his very loved papa.

Bike Riding

Minto Brown Park is one of my favorites to bike ride in. The trails are fairly easy and the blackberry picking in the fall is fabulous! Now that I have a bike trailer for Jesse it makes things so much easier! Here are a few pictures of us riding on a warm almost autumn night.

Scary picture of me, but here is most of our entourage.

Can we just ride again already?

Eating Blackberries
Helping himself to more blackberries

Weeee!

Swimming!

On the trip home to Oregon, we stayed in LaGrande for a break. We decided to take a late dip in the pool and it was so fun! Jesse has become a regular little water horse! I hope to eventually get him into swimming lessons or slowly teach him myself, but these next pictures will convince you of his love for water!

faces

My mom caught some classic "Jesse Faces"
when we were in Logan for a zoo trip. Enjoy
and I hope that these make you laugh!
