Visting the Zoo

Today I took Jesse to the zoo! My friend, Tira, and I decided that we needed to get out of our houses and go do something fun with our kids, so we went up to salt Lake to the Hogle Zoo. It was SO much fun! We walked around the entire park and saw everything imaginable (even a baby girafe!). Jesse was really good, but I doubt that he understood what was going on. Tira's little girl is named Aliya, and she is seven months old now so she was able to appreciate the animals a little more. Overall the trip was very fun and I was able to have a little get-away from everyday life. In the mornings when he wakes up, I put him into the bed next to me and he sleeps like a log. He always seems to reach me and he tickles me with his little fingers

It has been so beautiful here lately that I have started to take walks in the evenings. I wanted to make sure he was warm....and this was the first opportunity I had to put him in this cute snow suit. He is like a little marshmellow and can hardly move anything! :)

Ode to Saint Patties

Jesse is getting bigger each day. He is also cooing and making much more noise. I am trying to get him to grab at things, but so far all he can do is put his fist in his mouth. He is still cuddly which I am told to enjoy that as long as possible. He is SOO much fun to stay home with each day and I miss him everytime i have to go to work. Andy is very good with Jesse and grabs him out of my hands each time he gets home. He loves to just sit and play with him and make him smile. I am afraid he is going to turn out to be a daddy's little boy. He slobbers A LOT now and i keep on trying to see whether his teeth are coming in but I simply cannot tell. I have never had a teething baby before!! OH and he is very excited to see him grandma and grandpa in April!!

He is starting to gain some weight and i love his cute little cubbyness. I call him "chuncker"

He looks different in every picture! His smiles are come often and are the biggest in the morning. I love waking up to his smiles.

i can never cuddle with him enough! I was trying to get a picture of his beautiful blue eyes. He is feeling much better but is having some trouble sleeping. An update on me- i just got a new job tutoring. It pays a lot better and the hours are decent. I will have to leave jesse with someone four days a week, but it is all very worth it to me. Going back to school in the sumer will be a different story but we will take it one day at a time. :)
